A day in Kuala Gandah, Lanchang, Pahang

Elephants are the largest mammals land animal in the world. Elephants are located on these countries for example Africa, Malaysia and Madagascar. There are two types of Elephants namely African elephants and Asian elephants. Both elephants are distinguishable by their shear sizes. African Elephants are Bigger and Taller compare to Asian elephants.

Historically and according to legend elephants afraid of rats because rats are dirty and smells toxic. Elephants’ favorite foods are fruits and sugar cane. Elephants like to take baths in the open water such in the rivers.

In the wild kingdom Jaguars, Leopards and Cheetahs want kill the elephants however the elephants are hard to be killed. It is because due to Elephants are known to travel in group and like to protect each other.

During Chinese New Year Holiday, my family and I went to Elephant sanctuary situated in Kuala Gandah, Pahang. We took the karak highland and travel east worth for one hour until reached Lanchang. After that we exit the highway and we took the trunk road about 5 kilometers to the elephant sanctuary. It took me by surprise that even tough, the place is right in the middle of the jungle, there are a lot of tourists from foreign countries such as the UK, USA, UAE and China. We spent as taking pictures of the elephants and then we go to the Deerland which are very far away from the Elephant sanctuary and then we made it to the Deerland. My father parked, then we get out and ask the cashier to get in there which cost RM3.00

First, we take pictures of a peacock, mousedeer and Taiwan Reindeer. We met the zookeeper, He allowed us to feed the deer that are in the jungle. They favourite food are sweet potato,we get in the gate and the deers are sitting and hungry and then they get up rush to us for the sweet potato.First, the zookeeper feed them and then my mother,my father but the deers were indestructible and I want to feed them but I am afraid and my brother ran around and around and around to some pictures but the camera’s batteries ran out but he don’t that. After we finished feeding the deers, we saw the largest deer in Pahang called The Malayan Deer after that the Ostrich and then I saw tourists.
